Deepika Padukone's favourite co-star
First co-actors, then lovers and now soon to be partners for life. Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, who have been dating each other for past six years will tie the knot on November 14 and 15 in Lake Como, Italy. The duo has done three blockbuster films together, all directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Beginning with Ram Leela, the lovestruck couple appeared on Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat. Still, Ranveer is not Deepika's favourite co-star. Yes, you heard that right.

So you must be guessing that it can be Amitabh Bachchan or Shah Rukh Khan. Absolutely wrong. In an interview with India Today, Deepika revealed Irrfan is her favourite co-star. She confesses Piku wouldn't have been special without him. "Irrfan is my favourite co-star. I think Piku wouldn't have been as special for me if he wasn't a part of that film. I think somewhere, we pushed each other and brought out the best in each other," she said.

Deepika and Irrfan worked together in Shoojit Sircar's Piku, which garnered rave reviews from critics. The duo is all set to collaborate for Vishal Bhardwaj's production. It is a gangster drama based on author-reporter S Hussain Zaidi's book, Mafia Queens of Mumbai. Unfortunately, the project got stalled due to Irrfan's health. The critically acclaimed actor was diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumour earlier this year. He is undergoing treatment in London and is expected to return after Diwali. His two films-Blackmail and Karwaan released in his absence.
