Interestingly, when netizens were considering that Malaika has cleared the air on her relationship status by a pendant with 'AM' initials, something happened to their disappointment. A day before, Malaika took to Instagram to share a picture of a pendant gifted by her friend Vahbiz Mehta. The pendant had 'AM' initials and it was misunderstood to be standing for Arjun and Malaika.
After the news went viral, Malaika in another post has clarified that it is not 'AM' but 'MA' which means Malaika Arora. She captioned the new image as, “Thank you Vahbiz Mehta for my lovely MA pendant that stands for Malaika Arora...as in my name.”

When Arjun Kapoor was asked on Koffee With Karan season 6 whether he is single or taken, the actor didn't shy away from confessing that he is no more single. He even said that he is now open to marriage, which was not the case earlier.

When Malaika was questioned about her dating rumours, she refused to reveal anything. ''I never answer personal questions. Not that I shy away from answering or whatever. I just don’t feel comfortable talking about my personal life. And whatever my life has been, everyone is aware of it. I don’t need to be talking about it. I am just enjoying my life - it’s beautiful and precious,'' she said.
