Revealed! Mystery girl with Nawazuddin Siddiqui in his Instagram picture is Italian actress Valentina Corti
Nawazuddin Siddiqui is very much in news these days. After winning accolades for his performance in Sridevi’s last film Mom, the versatile actor went on to impress audience in Anurag Kashyap’s Sacred Games. The Netflix original TV series is already trending like anything on social media. The actor has played the role of male lead Ganesh Gaitonde in the crime-thriller and needless to say, he has meticulously slipped into the skin of the character. Nawazuddin Siddiqui is also playing the role of iconic political leader Bal Thackeray in his upcoming film Thackeray.
The renowned actor who is otherwise inactive on social media left everyone in surprise on Wednesday. He shared a picture of himself with a mystery woman in a foreign land and wrote, “Ye Ladki mere ' रोम रोम में ' hai."
Soon after, comments started flooding on his Instagram account asking the actor who the woman is. Some even speculated the woman is Nawazuddin’s new girlfriend. But let us kill the suspense for you.
The woman in the picture is not Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s new love interest. Instead, she is an Italian actress Valentina Corti, who’s going to work with the actor on Tannishtha Chatterjee’s directorial debut. The film will be produced by Eros International, Rising Star Entertainment, Ravi Wali and Pankaj Razdan. The film is being shot in Rome, hence the रोम रोम reference in Nawazuddin’s post.
The film is currently in production stage and is expected to release in early 2019. On the work front, the trailer of Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s film Manto was released a month ago. It is a period drama based on controversial writer Saadat Hasant Manto who is famously known for his writings about the partition of 1947.
