Mumtaz is healthy and fine: Family members dismiss death rumours on social media
Veteran actress Mumtaz is healthy and fine as opposed to the death rumours that are doing rounds on social media. Her family members informed the media about her good health and quashed all those baseless rumours about her demise. Mumtaz is a popular Bollywood actress who was seen in many hit films including Aap Ki Kasam, Saccha Jhoota, Loafer, Do Raaste, etc. She was paired opposite many superstars including Rajesh Khanna, Dharmendra, Shashi Kapoor and others. Dismissing reports of veteran actor Mumtaz's death, a family member said Friday the yesteryear star is fit and fine.
There were reports on social media that the actor passed away Friday.
"She is alive, fit and fine. she wants to know why everybody is spreading false news," a family member told PTI.
Veteran actress Mumtaz is currently living with her family in London. She is 70-years-old, fit and healthy. In April last year, there were rumours that she has passed away in UK, which her daughter Tanya denied on social media. One of the popular actresses in the 1970s, Mumtaz featured in films such as Mela, Apradh, Nagin, Bramachari, Ram Aur Shyam, Do Raste and Khilona.
