WATCH: Mother Neelima Azeem reveals how 6-year-old Shahid Kapoor saved her from a stranger

Shahid Kapoor has always been very open and out there when it comes to his family. Even when he recently appeared on Karan Johar’s most entertaining chat show Koffee With Karan 6 along with little brother Ishaan Khatter, he revealed many details about his relationship with his father, mother and of course his brother. While Shahid revealed that he is very protective about his little brother Ishaan Khatter and often becomes very parental, he has always been protective about his mother Neelima Azeem as well and this picture is proof.

We have got our hands on a video of Shahid Kapoor when he appeared on Simi Garewal’s show long back and talked about his personal and professional life. While talking about Shahid Kapoor’s relationship status in the show, Simi Garewal reveals that he has a woman in his life who is most important to her and then a video of Shahid Kapoor’s mother, Neelima Azeem pops up. In the video, Azeem talks about an incident in which a ‘puny French guy’ was following her and before he could say anything to her, Shahid stood in front of him and said, ‘Excuse me sir before you talk to her, you have to deal with me’. While on Koffee with Karan recently, Shahid Kapoor revealed ho after marriage and having kids his life has started revolving around them. He even said that it is not good and he should socialize more with the people in the industry. Nonetheless, Shahid’s chemistry with his little brother Ishaan Khatter on the show was something to enjoy. The brothers were seen commenting on each other’s films and lives other than competing hard for the hamper.

On the professional front, Shahid Kapoor was last seen in Batti Gul Meter Chalu which was a hit at the box office. Currently, he is shooting for the remake of Arjun Reddy called Kabir Singh along with Kiara Advani.
