After Anurag Kashyap, Kangana Ranaut, Hansal Mehta and Hrithik Roshan, National Award winning actor Rajkummar Rao has also come out against the Queen director Vikas Bahl. Rao was part of Bahl's film Queen, co-starring Kangana Ranaut. The actress has already spoken on how the director used to harass her.

Rao in his recent interview with Huffington Post said that he strongly condemns the act and urged industry to protect its people against any kind of harassment. ''It’s very shocking and sad. What happened was very unfortunate. I strongly condemn whatever is going on. What is wrong is wrong. We as an industry should come together to protect everyone, be it men or women, against any kind of harassment, and I hope and pray that God will give strength to that girl to come out of it even stronger,” Rao said.

The actor even said that the safety of women should be given utmost importance. He also insisted on collaborating with people, who have right moral values. ''We have to address the safety of women and that is of utmost importance right now, I would love to work only with people with ethics and the right moral conduct,'' he added.

Earlier Kangana said that she believed the allegations levelled against Bahl as he has misbehaved with her as well. In an interview, the actress said, ''He'd bury his face in my neck, hold me really tight and breathe in the smell of my hair. It took me great amount of strength and effort to pull myself out of his embrace. He'd say 'I love how you smell K''.

Harassment allegations against the director which surfaced in 2017 came into notice again when Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane corroborated the incident. As a consequence, their company Phantom Films in which Bahl was an equal partner was dissolved.

In the latest development, Bahl has sent legal notices to Kashyap and Motwane, calling them 'opportunists' for making 'defamatory' statements against him.

Even Hrithik Roshan, who is working in Bahl's upcoming film Super 30 has put forward a strict stance on the whole incident. In a statement on Twitter, the actor wrote, ''It is impossible for me to work with any person if he/she is guilty of such grave misconduct. I am away and have access to only sporadic information. I have requested the producers of Super 30 to take stock of the apparent facts and take a harsh stand if need be. This is not to be hushed or brushed under the carpet''.
