Sui Dhaaga: Made In India
Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma are gearing up for the release of their forthcoming movie Sui Dhaaga: Made In India. While Varun will play the character of Mauji, Anushka will be essaying his wife Mamta. Both the actors went de-glam for their roles. While Varun sported a moustache for the flick, Anushka had to wear a saree with pallu on her head always.

Produced by Yash Raj Films and directed by Sharat Katariya, the movie is about self-reliance. The production house is making sure to keep alive the buzz around the movie by dropping small behind-the-scenes clips. In the latest video titled as Mauji and Mamta's cycle ride, we get a glimpse of the tiring sequence.

Varun rides a bicycle with Anushka riding pillion. Varun says that they shot in Madhya Pradesh during the scorching heat of summers and he rode the bicycle for 10 hours. Both the actors got tanned but still, they continued to shoot. Anushka had to sit twisted with her legs crossed. She even had to make sure not to hold Varun during the ride. This caused her back pain.
''The sequence is all about the struggle Mamta and Mauji face during the course to achieve their dream. It is about their determination,'' says Varun. Sui Dhaaga is scheduled to hit theaters on September 28, 2018.
On a related note, Varun will also feature in Karan Johar's Takht, which is set in the Mughal era. Anushka will next be seen in Aanand L Rai's Zero, starring Shah Rukh Khan.
