It’s not always about the pictures, but the ace designer makes sure that she conveys an important message with each of her social media posts. We were floored by the way Masaba had hit back at the trolls who called her an ‘illegitimate’ child. On her father and former cricketer Vivian Richards’ 66th birthday, she dropped at his place for a surprise visit.
As her father, former West Indies cricketer is living in the Caribbean, the mother-daughter don’t get enough time to be together in one place. That’s why Masaba Gupta didn’t spare an opportunity to be with her dad and mom on his special day. She even cancelled her important work commitments to make some time for her family. She had an impromptu mini-reunion about which she posted on her Instagram account.
She wrote, “I’ts been a bit astonishing, how short life can be .. which is why I dropped every single ‘important’ thing I was doing to come surprise my dad on his birthday today & even had an impromptu family reunion. Missing the husband,though. Happy birthday , dad - I’m really trying to make this emotional , but you’re 66 now & still can’t send a whatsapp & think a smartphone is the devil incarnate. Slow.”
