Manisha Koirala hosts party on 48th birthday, Shah Rukh Khan, Rekha in attendance (Pics Inside)
Beautiful Bollywood actress Manisha Koirala, who always enchants the audience with her smile, turned a year old on Thursday. Turning 48 gracefully, the Sanju actress threw a lavish birthday party for her close friends in Mumbai. The bash had superstar Shah Rukh Khan, Rekha, Sanjay Dutt’s wife Maanyata Dutt and filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali in attendance. In a series of Instagram posts, Manisha calls them ‘her favourite people’. Also, ace designer Manish Malhotra was also present at the party.
We assume that the theme of the party was black and white as all the women were clad in white and men looked dapper in black suits. Birthday girl Manisha Koirala wore a white sequinned outfit and tied her hair into a bun.
Manisha Koirala and Shah Rukh Khan shared screen space in Dil Se, which came out in 1998. On the other hand, she played Nargis Dutt, Sanjay Dutt’s mother in Rajkumar Hirani’s Sanju. Sanjay’s real life wife Maanyata Dutt was also present at the party.
Rekha put a garland of jasmine flowers around Manisha’s neck as she turns 48. We’ve always seen the veteran actress showering love on her industry friends.
Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, with whom she has worked in Khamoshi was also present at the party.
Manisha Koirala was last seen in Sanju, where she played the role of iconic actress Nargis Dutt. Before that, she was seen in Lust Stories, a Netflix original film helmed by Anurag Kashyap, Zoya Akhtar, Karan Johar and Dibakar Banerjee.
She also bagged Dadasaheb Phalke Film Foundation Award for most Versatile Actress in Indian Cinema this year.
