Sridevi’s sudden demise brought a huge shock to the entire nation and Bollywood. Sridevi’s fans from all around the nation and film fraternity in huge numbers gathered at the actress house to pay their last tribute to the her.
Celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Sushmita Sen, Karan Johar, filmmaker Gauri Shinde, Boney Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Kamal Haasan, Rani Mukerji and many others remembered Sridevi with by writing heart-felt notes for the veteran actress.
Fashion designer Manish Malhotra was also present with Sridevi at her nephew Mohit Marwah’s wedding in Dubai and shared a candid moment with her on his Instagram account.
Sharing the picture he wrote, ‘’This was our last picture together and just 4 days ago .. I will never able to get over this loss.’’
Interestingly, the attire which Sridevi wore at her nephew’s wedding in Dubai was designed by the ace designer Manish. Manish had designed attires for Sridevi at several other occasions in past as well.
Sridevi was a style icon and was aware of all the nuances of glam world. She often picked attires designed by Manish’s for herself and for her beautiful daughters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor.
And now designer Manish wants Sridevi's daughters to carry forward their mom's legacy. A source close to Manish said, he has planned to give Sridevi’s favourite dresses from his collection to her daughters. He said that there were some attires from his collections which were liked by Sridevi. He has said that he wants to give those outfits to Janhvi and Khushi so that they can wear them in their mother’s memory. The source said, Manish wants to archive all Sridevi’s favourite attires and give them to her daughters.
