Bollywood BFF’s Manish Malhotra and Karan Johar made huge headlines today with rumours suggesting that the two are “romantically” involved with each other. Buzz had it that the designer acknowledged his relationship status with KJo on social media by simply liking a comment. Now, Manish Malhotra has come to the forefront to clear the air.

Manish Malhotra was disgusted by stories of a romance brewing between him and Karan. "It's just ridiculous Karan is like a brother to me”, the designer was quoted as saying to Indiatimes.

Recently, Manish Malhotra shared a picture with Karan Johar to wish him on his birthday and wrote, "Happy happy birthday my dearest bestest friend @karanjohar have a wonderful year ahead 25! years of friendship and working together..and many more years to come and may you keep making the most wonderful films and keep being the spirited person that you are #karanjohar #friendship #friendslikefamily #Bff @mmalhotraworld.

Reports doing the rounds claimed that an Instagram user commented, "You guys are the cutest couple." Manish liked the comment, which set tongues wagging and led people to interpret his 'like' as a confirmation that he is indeed in a relationship with Karan.

On the work front, Karan Johar’s ‘Dharma Productions’ have a list of releases this year. Karan is personally involved in his much ambitious project ‘Kalank’ which stars Bollywood A-listers like Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha, Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt. Karan revealed that Kalank was the dream project of his late father Yash Johar which is why he wants the movie to be grand.
