Sister Rangoli hits back at director Krish for criticising Kangana Ranaut

Amid the Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi box-office success, director Krish Jagarlamudi has opened up about what went wring during the making of the Kangana Ranaut starrer. Krish had walked out of the film and Kangana had taken over the reins. In the film, she has been given the first credit in direction.  In a series of interviews, Krish has criticizing the Queen actress for claiming that she directed 70% of the movie when he left it midway to direct NTR biopic.

Now, Kangana Ranaut’s sister Rangoli Chandel has come in support of the actress. Taking to her Twitter account, Rangoli said, “DirKrish chalo man liya you directed the whole film now please calm down, still Kangana is the leading face of the film let her enjoy this moment of her success and great appreciation, please leave her alone, we all believe you now please take a seat”.

Meanwhile, in a recent IANS interview, Krish said that he watched Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi and revealed why he remained quiet until its release on January 25.

“I saw the film. I'd say more than 70 per cent is mine. I remained quiet until the release. I had to remain quiet for the sake of the film and for the entire team which worked so hard on the film. But now if I don't speak about what Kangana did to the film I'd be doing a disservice to all our hard work. Many people advised me to talk after the film was taken away from me. I'd say what I directed was pure gold. Kangana turned it into silver”, Krish was quoted as saying to IANS.

Kangana Ranaut is garnering all the praises for her Laxmibai avatar in Manikarnika, which has minted Rs 44.55 crore in three days of its release.
