Lust Stories, an anthology film which consists of four short movie segments, directed by some renowned directors is grabbing eyeballs for some obvious reasons. Filmmaker Karan Johar, who was famous for portraying family-oriented characters through his films, tried something different when he showcased a bold scene in his short movie that featured Kiara Advani. But seems like it didn’t go down well with veteran singer Lata Mangeshkar’s family. For the uninitiated, Kiara is playing the role of a married woman in the movie, who is trying to find sexual compatibility.
During an adult scene, a song from K3G crooned by Lata started playing in the backdrop. While some found the scene funny, reports suggested that the veteran singer’s family are upset with it. According to a report on BollywoodHungama, one of her family members said, “We wonder why he needed to use a Bhajan-like song sung in the most revered voice of Asia to show his heroine in an orgasmic state. He could have used any other song.”
Apparently, he also said that the singer has not been informed about the use of song in such scene. He further stated that the ace director was happy when Lata recorded the song for his movie as it was dream come true moment for him asking Why Karan has turned that dream into a nightmare. The latter’s reaction on the same is still awaited.
