Lara Dutta, former Miss Universe, got married to the love of her life Mahesh Bhupathi eight years ago. Since then, the duo has been giving major couple goals through their lovestruck pictures on the Instagram. As the couple clocked eight years of their blissful married life, the retired Indian tennis player Mahesh Bhupathi took to his Instagram to wish his lovely wife Lara Dutta and shared a few beautiful clicks from their wedding album. He wittily captioned the pictures as, "Eight years ago today, I signed my life away to Lara Dutta."
While Bhupathi’s post left netizens in splits, wife Lara Dutta seems to be better at comeback as she replied to the anniversary post in the most amazing way. The actress wrote, "By the Cheshire Cat grin on your face, doesn't look like you were dragged to the altar." For those who doesn’t know, Cheshire Cat is a fictional character from Lewis Carroll's Alice In Wonderland series. Lara Dutta and Mahesh Bhupathi got married on February 16 in 2011. After a civil weddig, the two tied the knot according to the Christian traditions in Goa four days later on February 20. They also have a seven-year-old daughter names Saira.
On Valentines day also, Lara Dutta shared a mushy post on her Instagram along with husband Mahesh Bhupathi and wrote, “The wind in my sails, the rudder to my ship, the crick in my neck!!!. My forever Valentine!” In the picture, the couple looks adorable and make for a cute post. Check out-
