Bollywood playback singer Kumar Sanu, who has voiced many hit songs from the 90s, most recognisably the Aashiqui (1990) romantic tracks has landed himself in legal trouble. In recent times, the vocalist isn’t getting a lot of songs to voice in Bollywood and has taken to doing live shows in various parts of the country to make his livelihood. One of his recent shows in Muzaffarpur, Bihar seems to have gone awry for him. Today, an FIR has been filed against the Bollywood play back singer at Mithanpura police station of Muzaffarpur district in Bihar.
The residents near the venue had complained to the police that the singer was breaking the law.
According to an India Today report, the FIR has been filed against Ankit Kumar, organiser of the program.
Making his Bollywood debut with the 1989 flick 'Hero Hiralal', Kumar Sanu went on to croon many memorable songs, especially the 90's hits like Aashiqui, Dilwale dulhaniya Le Jayenge, 1942: A Love Story, Baaazigar, Deewana, Saajan etc.
