All the followers of Lord Krishna are drowned into the festive fervour of Janmashtami 2018 today and, our Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan is also celebrating the occasion in full swing. The Raees actor was spotted at his residence along with son AbRam Khan and wife Gauri Khan. While SRK was wearing a red and blue striped shirt with caprishorts, Gauri was spotted in a casual look wearing jeans and top. From greeting his fans to waving, Shah Rukh Khan wished everyone on the occasion of Dahi Handi.

Both Shah Rukh and AbRam participated in the traditional Dahi Handi ritual – they were photographed breaking Dahi Handi in the garden area of Mannat. 

Photos of AbRam attempting to touch the handi will really make your day. So adorable! Meanwhile, the paps also got a glimpse of Gauri Khan, who joined Shah Rukh and AbRam for the celebrations.

On the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami the devotees of Nand Lal sing and dance and enjoy the day with utmost happiness. Festivities continue even after the day of Janmashtami. One most important activity or sport during Janmashtami is ‘Dahi Handi’. Dahi handi simply means ‘curd in an earthen pot’. Dahi handi is mainly celebrated in Mumbai and Pune where Janmashtami is also called as Gokulashtami. Let’s decode what is the significance of dahi handi and why it is celebrated.

On a related note, Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Jab Harry Met Sejal, which failed to woo the audience like his other films. But now the actor is gearing up to treat his fans with his upcoming movie Zero alongside Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. The movie has already acquired a lot of buzz and Salman Khan's cameo in the film has taken to further high levels. The film will hit the screens in December, this year.
