Bollywood actress Kajol and director Karan Johar are childhood friends. At the personal level, the duo shares a crackling camaraderie and has also given some good films such as Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and My Name Is Khan. Karan considers Kajol as his lucky mascot. Unfortunately, during the release of Karan's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Devgn's Shivaay, their relationship went bitter. However, the duo has now sorted out differences between them and are now friends again.
After two years, they have resolved their issues as Kajol along with husband Ajay Devgn appeared on Koffee With Karan season 6 hosted by Karan Johar. The husband-wife duo graced the couch and didn't shy away from spilling the beans about their private life. According to a Mumbai Mirror report, Karan asked Kajol about her shopping habits. The host wanted to know why her long-term bestie shops at Santa Cruz market instead of going for designer labels. Kajol revealed that she prefers designer brands only for special appearances otherwise she is more comfortable with common brands. It was also revealed that Kajol is thrifty and gets excited on seeing products at cheap prices.
Ajay said that Kajol has gradually shifted to online shopping and now she keeps on ordering stuff worth Rs Rs 500 to Rs 1200. The actor also talked about how seven to eight parcels arrive at their place almost daily. ''And then she’s sitting on it exclaiming ‘See how much this is for, only Rs 600’.”
Keeping her side, Kajol said, ''I’d rather put my money in fixed deposits than spend on something expensive that has no bloody returns.” Ajay further added that he has been wanting to give her expensive gifts but every time, it is turned down by his dearest wife.
On the show, both will be seen pulling each other's leg. We can surely say they are a match made in heaven and Ajay knows how to enjoy Kajol's madness.
