Katrina Kaif denies being approached for a film with Mahesh Babu; here’s how she reacted

South superstar Mahesh Babu is currently busy in the shooting of his new project titled Maharshi, which is helmed by Vamshi Paidipally. The film will star Pooja Hegde as female lead which is going to be an interesting pair to watch. Meanwhile, Mahesh is also working on his next project with filmmaker Sukumar. Interestingly, it is that Sukumar has approached Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif opposite Mahesh for the yet to be titled film.

Reports also stated that makers are interested to rope in Katrina for the project, but the Zero actress has denied being a part of the film.In an interview with DNA, Katrina revealed, ‘’I haven’t signed anything after Bharat. As for your question, no, I haven’t even been approached for the film."

Notably, Katrina has walked out of Varun Dhawan starrer ABCD 3, as she is already busy in the shooting of Salman Khan starrer Bharat. 

However, Katrina recently opened up about her previous film Zero. ‘’What made me happy was that I pulled off the character exactly the way filmmaker Aanand L Rai and writer Himanshu Sharma had envisioned it. I lived with the role for almost two-and-a-half years, since the time they conceptualized the film and approached me for it,” said Katrina in an interview with DNA.
