Kartik Aaryan is currently B-town's hot favourite. The actor is not just hitting headlines for his film choices but also because of his personal life. Kartik is gearing up for the release of Laxman Utekar's Luka Chuppi, co-starring Kriti Sanon. Meanwhile, he is also shooting for Ananya Panday and Bhumi Pednekar starrer Pati, Patni Aur Woh. The actor, for whom 2018 was a year of stardom with his sleeper hit Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, made a lot of buzz because of his dating rumours. While Sara Ali Khan confessed having a crush on him, pictures of Kartik and Ananya also made a lot of buzz.
Recently, in an interview with Mid-day, the actor revealed that he was offered a role for Rs 10 crore, however, he turned it down as money and glamour are not his priorities now. “I was offered Rs 10 crore for a film post Sonu, but I just didn't see myself in it, so turned it down. I don't need money right now. I am no longer in a place where I desperately need money to survive. Now, money and glamour are by-products of what I do,'' Kartik said.
Talking about Luka Chuppi, Kartik says that it is the ''first film which is saying that come live-in with family. It is the funny quotient of the film. This has never happened. This is the unique and interesting aspect about the film''.
"Luka Chuppi was one script that I really loved. It is a content driven film which has commercial aspect to it. We are happy that the trailer has got good response and there is positivity around the film," he had said.
Luka Chuppi is Dinesh Vijan production and will hit theatres on March 1.
