Kartik Aaryan, Ananya Pandey start shooting for Pati, Patni Aur Woh remake
Ananya Pandey and Kartik Aaryan’s much-awaited film Pati Patni Aur Who has hit the floors on Monday. The makers of the film shared the news will all the fans along with the picture from the first day of the shoot. helmed by Mudassar Aziz, the film is an adaptation of B.R. Chopra's 1978 film with the same title and is produced by Bhushan Kumar (of T-Series), Abhay Chopra and Juno Chopra (of BR Studios).
Producer Bhushan Kumar took to his Twitter to share the picture of the first day of shooting of the film and wrote, “Shot 1,Take 1 #PatiPatniAurWoh on floors now..Sending my good wishes to the team.” In the picture, Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Pandey can be seen hiding their faces behind the clapboard. Last month, the makers announced the entire starcast of the film through a couple of pictures which included Bhumi Pednekar wo will play Kartik’s wife in the film. Sources had earlier revealed that the movie’s core narrative will remain the same as the original 1978 film, but some changes will be made in the script to make it more contemporary and topical.
Bhushan Kumar of T-Series said in a statement, "We had a great synergy with BR Studios when we worked on 'Bhoothnath Returns' a few years ago. We are happy to produce 'Pati Patni Aur Woh' with them. Juno, Abhay and Mudassar have given an interesting tweak to the story that matches today's times. Kartik, Bhumi and Ananya are new age actors who are talented and add their spark to the story. We have worked with Kartik in 'Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety' and we are glad that we are working again. Bhumi has proven what a fantastic actor she is while Ananya is new, but audiences will fall in love with her. The film will so have great music,"
