Karisma Kapoor’s rumoured boyfriend Sandeep Toshniwal finally got officially divorced from his wife Dr Ashrita. According to Mumbai Mirror report, he has been fighting for seven years to get his divorce come through. The Bandra family court finally confirmed the divorce on Monday. Toshniwal has filed for divorce in 2010. The couple zeroed on a settlement towards the end of their legal battle this year.
Sandeep Toshniwal got hitched to his wife in 2003. As per the settlement, Ashrita has received Rs 2 crore as the alimony, if the reports are to be believed. Sandeep and Karisma have been dating each other since 2010. They are often spotted together at parties. After Sandeep’s divorce, are wedding bells for the duo ringing anytime soon?
Earlier this year, Karisma’s father and actor Randhir Kapoor told DNA that she doesn’t have any plans to get married.
“I have never discussed the issue of marriage with her but if she does plan to, she will always have my blessings. But I don't think she wants to get married. She is a happy mother and if she wants, she can get married any time but there is no step in that direction right now. She is happy the way she is," he said.
Karisma Kapoor was married to Sunjay Kapur from for 13 years since 2003. She has two children Samiera and Kiaan Raj Kapoor with him. After the divorce, both the children are living with Karisma while Sunjay is married to Priya Sachdev.
