Kareena Kapoor Khan to charge whopping 11 crores for a health drink brand campaign
Kareena Kapoor Khan’s popularity has been touching the endless skies with each passing day. Especially after marriage and having a baby, the actress has become even more desirable by the filmmakers as well as the companies. Kareena today is on the wish list of every filmmaker and ruling the nation with her vibrant energy. Now, the latest reports about the actress suggest that she has been roped in by a brand for which she is charging a whopping 11 crores for one year of work.
Going by the reports in DNA, a source revealed to the daily, “The health drink had been in talks with her for some time. They are apparently paying her Rs 11 crore to be their brand ambassador for one year. This includes promo shoots and marketing campaigns.” The report also suggest that the price charged came as surprise since all the actor charge around 5-6 crores for brand endorsement. The source added: “In the last 18 years, Kareena has been a consistent face of over 15 brands at any given point. Her brand equity has increased after marriage and motherhood...The beverage caters to kids, so the team felt that Bebo, who is also a mom, was an apt choice. She shot for the first few television commercials and a print campaign on Saturday.”
On the professional front, Kareena Kapoor Khan is loaded with work. The actress was last seen in the all-girls film Veere Di Wedding alongside Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania. Currently she is bust shooting for her upcoming film tilted Good News along with Akshay Kumar, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani. Also, the actress will start shooting for Karan Johar’s multi-starrer project Takht after wrapping Good News. Takht is a period drama which also stars Vicky Kaushal, Ranveer ingh, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
Also, a Mid-Day report has stated that Kareena Kapoor Khan will be seen as a police officer in Hindi Medium 2. If this is true, Bebo will essay the role of a cop for the first time in her career spanning nearly two decades. She will be playing a police officer in the satire based film based on India’s education system. Reports are also rife that Bebo will start working for Hindi Medium 2 before Karan Johar’s Takht.
