Kareena Kapoor Khan pays tribute to sister Karisma by dancing on her hit Bollywood songs
Bollywood’s hottest sister Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karisma Kapoor have always been very appreciative of each other. While Karisma Kapoor herself revealed that they both are poles apart in many ways, they always stand by each other in every phase of life. Much before Kareena made her big Bollywood debut, Karisma was already the leading lady in the industry with every filmmaker desiring to work with her. Here we have a video that shows Kareena Kapoor Khan claim that sister Karisma is a better dancer than her.
The video going viral on the internet is from 2003 Filmfare Awards in which Kareena Kapoor paid tribute to her sister Karisma Kapoor by dancing on her hit Bollywood songs. After the performance, Kareena invited Karisma on stage and before handing over the mike to her, she says that her sister is a better dancer than herself. However, Karisma rubbished her statement.

Karisma is evidently overwhelmed with the performance and the tribute given to her at the grand event. Karisma says, ‘Oh my god I’m so touched, I really don’t know what to say.’ She thanks her baby sister Kareena for the tribute and says, “Thank you for making me feel so special…I mean something like this normally happens when there is a lifetime achievement award and I’m not here for that, I have a long way to go and I’m not retiring or going anywhere.”
Karisma has always been vocal about her bond with Kareena and how close they are. In a statement earlier, Karisma has even said, “She is my sister and we are very close. I think she is more of a friend to me than just a family member. We share a great bond and she is a blessing in my life.”
She added, “I think there has never been a precedence where two sisters in Bollywood have been successful working simultaneously as heroines in same decade or same generation. I think we have been lucky and fortunate to have had great careers.”
