On the professional front, Karan was last seen in Sonakshi Sinha and Diljit Dosanjh starrer Welcome to New York. The movie clashed with Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and doomed at the box office. The ace director is bankrolling many other projects. Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter starrer Dhadak being one among them. He has also collaborated with Badrinath Ki Dulhania director Shashank Khaitan and Varun Dhawan for an upcoming film Ranbhoomi.
