Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar, who has been keeping busy with his upcoming film Kalank, celebrated the 72nd Independence Day with his mother Hiroo Johar and twins Yash and Roohi. He posed with an Indian flag in the backdrop while Yash and Roohi are held up in his arms. While the entire nation was engulfed with the love for their country, Karan Johar also shared some words for his nation. Sharing the picture, he wrote, “I love my country! And this is my world!!!!.”
In the photo, KJo, donning a casual look can be seen posing in front of the tricolor on a terrace with his family. Both Roohi and Yash, are seen wearing white and blue outfits respectively.
On the work front KJo recently announced his next directorial titled 'Takht'. He will be donning the director's hat for this period-drama two years after Ranbir Kapoor-Anushka Sharma-Aishwarya Rai Bachchan-starrer 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' garnered immense appreciation. Also, he has brought Kareena Kapoor Khan and Ranveer Singh in a same film for the first time.
The flick, starring Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar, will hit the theatres in 2020.
Apart from Takht, he is bankrolling Kalank, which has several Bollywood stars including Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Sanjay Dutt, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sonakshi Sinha and Madhuri Dixit in important roles.
