Kangana Ranaut lashes out on Sonam K Ahuja for saying ‘it’s hard to take Kangana seriously’
Sonam Kapoor Ahuja is one Bollywood actress who is known to take stand for everything right and speak her mind in all scenarios. Recently, the actress attended the ‘Vogue We the Women’ summit in Bengaluru and talked in detail about the Me Too movement that has stirred like a storm in the industry. After Tanushree Dutta’s allegations and accusations against veteran Bollywood actor Nana Patekar, many women have come out with their stories and one such woman is Manikarnika actress Kangana Ranaut. The actress has accused her Queen director Vikas Bahl for sexual misconduct after a Huffington Post reported that a former woman employee of Phantom Films has accused him of sexual harassment.
Talking about the same, Sonam revealed that while she feels terrible for the woman who had to suffer through this, Kangana Ranaut has taken a bold stand against the filmmaker. However, the actress also adds that Kangana says so many things that it gets hard to believe her sometimes. She said, “Kangana being Kangana Ranaut, she says a lot of stuff. Sometimes, it’s hard to take her seriously, but I love the fact that she has spunk and she says what she believes in.”
Looks like Kangana Ranaut is not very happy with Sonam Kapoor Ahuja’s statement. In an interview with Pinkvilla, Kangana hits back at Sonam and says that she has no right to judge her like this. Kangana said, “What does she mean by saying, “its hard to believe Kangana” When I am sharing my me too story, who gives her a right to judge me? So, Sonam Kapoor has the license of trusting some women and some she won’t...What makes her so unsure of my claims, I am known to be an articulate person, I have represented my country in many international summits, I am called as a thought and youth influencer to these summits, I am not known because of my dad I have earned my place and credibility after struggling for a decade.”
Kangana further stated, “She isn’t known to be a great actress, neither she has the reputation of being a good speaker...... What gives these filmy people right to take digs at me!!!! I will demolish each one of them.”
Well, Kangana is evidently very angry with Sonam Kapoor Ahuja!
