Kalki Koechlin shares frame with ex-husband Anurag Kashyap and his daughter Aaliyah
Anurag Kashyap and Kalki Koechlin are a rare sight together after their divorce in 2015. While the duo shares cordial bond after their separation they are hardly seen together at any event. However, last night was different when both Kalki Koechlin and Anurag Kashyap attended 20 years of Sabyasachi. The duo arrived for the celebration separately but posed for the paparazzi together. Not just the couple but Anurag Kashyap was also accompanied by daughter Aaliyah and the three together make for a perfect picture.
For the event, Kalki Koechlin opted for a short floral dress by designer Sabyasachi and looked ethereal. On the other hand, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap was dressed in a casual black t-shirt and blue denim and looked handsome. Talking about daughter Aaliyah, she wore a cute checkered outfit. Kalki took to her Instagram to share a boomerang video of the three and captioned it as “Ain’t we cute?” Check out-

Kalki Koechlin and Anurag Kashyap got married after they worked together in films like Dev D and The Girl In Yellow Boots. While the marriage did not work for them, they decided to walk different paths in 2015. Talking about her divorce recently, Kalki revealed, “Once I got married, I was only invited to the things that Anurag was invited to. People would say, ‘Call Anurag’s wife’. They wouldn’t say, ‘call Kalki’ or ‘call Kalki’s husband.” She added, after the divorce “I found myself alone after a very long time. I had to fill up that empty space somehow. I didn’t want to fill it up by going crazy and getting drunk, or by surrounding myself with the people. I chose the introverted version of filling up myself by spending more time at home, with the family... I’m happy I went through that journey.”
While Kalki is yet to announce her next film, Anurag Kashyap recently announced his next Bollywood venture Saand Ki Aankh. The film will star Taapsea Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar in lead roles and the film is being currently shot. On the other hand, Kalki was recently seen in Zoya Akhtar’s web series Made In Heaven.
