Alia Bhatt and Madhuri Dixit share memories of making Ghar More Pardesiya

Alia Bhatt and Madhuri Dixit have given their audience the most beautiful and soul touching song of the year with Ghar More Pardesiya from the upcoming Bollywood film Kalank. Just when the makers released the song, it became an instant hit among the audience with millions of views within a few hours. The song features these two beautiful actresses weaving their magic like every time with their hypnotic expressions and enchanting dance moves.

While fans were still not over the song Ghar More Pardesiya, the makers of the film Kalank shared behind the scenes video of it leaving them all the more excited. The video that has popped on the internet on Monday shows what all went behind making the extravagant sets for the song as well as the endless rehearsals that Alia Bhatt underwent to ace her dance moves. In the video, Alia Bhatt also shared how nervous she was to perform infront of dancing queen Madhuri Dixit and how thrilled she was after the song came out well. On the other hand, Madhuri Dixit shares that she was mesmerized with the creativity and imagery put into the song.

Talking about her dance off in the song, Alia Bhatt earlier said in an interview to Mid-Day, “I was lucky that it wasn’t a dance-off. Madhuri ma’am could sense my tension; she was constantly instructing me on how to conduct myself. She ensured I performed everything perfectly - from the expressions to the steps. The spins were the toughest part; the weight of the lehenga made it difficult to spin fast. I was worried about how I had fared, but once I finished the take, Remo sir [D’Souza, choreographer] gave me an okay. That was reassuring.”

Set in the 1940s, Kalank also stars Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit Nene and Aditya Roy Kapur in lead roles. The teaser, which was released recently, received a thumbs up from the audience.
