Throwback Thursday: Juhi Chawla shares throwback picture with Shah Rukh Khan from Yes Boss
Veteran Bollywood actress Juhi Chawla walked down the memory lane but a little earlier. On Wednesday, she shared a throwback picture from her 1997’s hit film Yes Boss which also starred Shah Rukh Khan. The film released on 18th July, 1997 and was declared an instant hit on the box office. Juhi shared two pictures that look like snapshots from the song ‘Main Koi Aisa Geet Gaun’. In the caption, she wrote, “21 years to Main Koi Aisa Geet Gaoon. Sweet memories on & off screen 21 years to Yes Boss today! #21YearsOfYesBoss @iamsrk”
Superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who worked with Juhi Chawla in a number of films back then, also took notice of this tweet and replied, “The love u, Bobby & Mom, Aziz & Ratanji gave me in this film gave me the confidence 2 b who I became.Lov u.”
The way Shah Rukh Khan expressed gratitude towards his co-star Juhi Chawla and the entire Yes Boss team, won hearts on internet. It’s not the first time that SRK, despite being a superstar, demonstrated great humility and kindness. No wonder why he has over 35 million followers on Twitter.
Yes Boss collected Rs 19 crores at the domestic box office and around Rs 3 crore in other countries. It had a total of Rs 22.96 crore against its Rs 5 crore budget. It is the 12th highest grossing Indian film of 1997 worldwide.
Currently, Shah Rukh Khan has wrapped up working on Aanand L Rai’s Zero. For the first time ever in Bollywood, SRK is going to play a dwarf on screen. Also starring Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif, Zero is slated to release on December 21, 2018.
