Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s Mumbai reception was nothing short of Bollywood glitz. Nearly every single Bollywood star present in Mumbai at the time, attended DeepVeer’s reception party at Grand Hyatt Hotel. The highlights were Amitabh Bachchan and his family, including daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who enjoyed the most at Deepika and Ranveer’s reception. The megastar also shared a few candid pictures from DeepVeer’s reception that’s doing rounds on the internet. In the pictures, Big B is seen sharing a moment with Deepika and Ranveer. Also seen were wife Jaya Bachchan, daughter Shweta Bachchan and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Abhishek Bachchan did not attend due to unknown reasons.

Going by their expressions, it was surely girls who won the dance competition. The victorious look on the ladies’ face can be clearly seen. Interestingly, Deepika Padukone who was wearing a red-coloured Zuhair Murad gown with a long trail, was seen in a different avatar here. She removed the trail and replaced her high heels with casual sneakers. This reminded us of Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja’s wedding reception when the couple wore sneakers with their ethnic ensembles.
After the loss at the competition, Ranveer Singh and Amitabh Bachchan hugged each other and the candid moment was clicked at the right time. Big B shared the picture and wrote, “And we are gracefully accepting it.”

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh who got married on November 14 and 15 hosted a wedding reception in Mumbai on December 1. It was attended by almost all the biggies of Bollywood except Aamir Khan, Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar.
