Ishaan Khatter wants Rajkummar Rao to be 'wary' of Janhvi Kapoor, here's why

In an almost unheard-of new friendship in B-Town, actors Rajkummar Rao and Ishaan Khatter made an appearance together on Neha Dhupia’s Colors Infinity chat show as BFFs and had a lot to say about each other. Ishaan has worked with Janhvi Kapoor in Dhadak and, Rajummar will now be seen with her in Dinesh Vijan's film, Rooh-Afza. So, when Ishaan and Rajkummar got together on Neha Dhupia's show, the Dhadak actor had an important tip for Rajkummar Rao.

"He (Rajkummar Rao) needs to be wary because she is obsessed with him, he joked and added, "She is a keen learner. I think he must have already observed that about her and she genuinely is very fond of his work, as am I", Ishaan Khatter said on the show.

"Janhvi Kapoor joins Rajkummar Rao and Varun Sharma in #RoohAfza... Directed by Hardik Mehta... Produced by Dinesh Vijan and Mrighdeep Singh Lamba... Shoot begins in June 2019... 20 March 2020 release... Official announcement", film critic Taran Adarsh said.

The daughter of late actress Sridevi will play two characters -- Roohi and Afsana -- in the upcoming film.

"For the female lead, we needed someone who could portray two contrasting personalities with ease, and Janhvi stood out. She really connected with the script. Her talent is still raw, but she is excited about being moulded. The script is young, refreshing and totally crazy, and she is exactly that," Vijan said about Janhvi Kapoor.

Recently, Janhvi Kapoor said her films are more important to her than earning fame as she has experienced fame since her childhood. "Fame is important for every actor and whatever fame I have earned is all because of my family. I have been getting recognised more after my first film so, I am very grateful for love and support which I received from the media and the audience", Dhadak actress said.

Produced by Vijan and Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, the film will be directed by debutant Hardik Mehta.
