Deepika Padukone
Actress Deepika Padukone is one of the most sought-after actresses of Bollywood. Her last film Padmaavat did a fantastic collection at the box office. The lady has also signed Vishal Bhardwaj's gangster drama, but the shooting has been delayed following Irrfan Khan’s ill health. Apart from this film, the dimpled beauty has not accepted any other Bollywood film. Many reports are doing the rounds giving the reason she has not signed any film.
Some say that the lady wants to recover from her neck injury whereas speculations are also rife that her wedding with Ranveer Singh is the reason. However, nobody knows the truth.
A source close to the actress revealed to Deccan Chronicle, “Her back/neck problem is being properly attended to and she will be fine soon. As for marriage plans, they in no way impinge on her career. The reason Deepika is not signing anything new is because of the quality of roles coming her way.”
The source also stated that Deepika’s huge fee is also the reason she is not receiving good offers because big production houses are not keen to play such huge amount.
Deepika and Ranveer are rumoured to be dating from quite some time. They have never admitted it but are often seen flirting on social media. Both the stars were last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat.
