Is John Abraham angry with good friend Akshay Kumar?
Looks like all is not well in the friendship paradise of Desi Boys John Abraham and Akshay Kumar. Buzz has it that Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran actor John Abraham is upset with his good friend Akshay Kumar for not helping him out in his legal battle with producer Prernaa Arora of KriArj Entertainment over financial irregularities and her inability to make payments on time to complete the film.
This is no news that John’s film Parmanu was in the making for the longest time because of the legal troubles and even got its release date postponed multiple times. It is learned that it was on Akshay’s insistence that John Abraham shook hands with Prernaa Arora for this project as the producer has already teamed up with Akshay in films like Rustom, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha and Padman. It is rumored that when all the trouble started John reached out to Akshay seeking help but Khiladi Kumar didn’t step in.
Looking at Akshay’s relationship with both John and Prernaa, it seems that he felt it better to stay out of it but now John doesn’t refrain from voicing out that he feels betrayed by his friend.
Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran narrates the story of unsung heroes who made India a nuclear superpower. Alongside John, the movie also features Diana Penty. Currently, the movie is fighting at the box-office with Alia Bhatt’s Raazi and is doing good. The movie garnered over Rs. 20 Cr in just the opening weekend of the film
