Irrfan Khan to begin shooting for Hindi Medium 2 in Rajasthan with Radhika Madan next week? Here’s the truth

Irrfan Khan has been rumoured to star in the sequel of 2017 hit Hindi Medium ever since the film hit the screens. However, the actor was diagnosed with cancer which is why he left for New York for treatment. Now that Irrfan is back in the country as well as good spirits, it is said that he will start shooting for the sequel in Rajasthan from next week along with Pataakha actress Radhika Madan.

Reports in Mumbai Mirror suggests that the actor is already in Rajasthan because of personal commitments and will start the shooting from next week. The publication quoted a source saying, “Irrfan and Radhika started prep a while ago and are looking forward to kick off the first schedule in Rajasthan. It’s an important portion after which they will take off for the international schedule. It was initially planned to be set in the US but will now take place in London for which the team recently conducted a recce.” Isn’t it good news?

On a related note, Irrfan Khan on Wednesday took to his twitter to thank his fans for their support in his tough times. He shared a picture of himself and wrote, “Maybe somewhere in the pursuit of winning, we forget how much it means to be loved. In our vulnerability, we are reminded. As I leave my footprints onto these steps of my life, I want to pause to be grateful for receiving your immense love and support, it soothed me in my process of healing. Talking about Hindi Medium 2, it is said that Kareena Kapoor Khan has been roped in as the leading lady in the film. It is reported that the actress will join the cast after she wraps up the shoot of Akshay Kumar starrer Good News. While Hindi Medium was helmed by Saket Chaudhary, the sequel will be directed by Homi Adajania.
