Dilip Kumar-Saira Banu’s grandniece Sayyeshaa Saigal gets hitched to Tamil actor Arya
Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu’s grandniece Sayyeshaa Saigal, who made her big Bollywood debut with Ajay Devgn’s film Shivaay, gets hitched to the love of her life, Tamil actor Arya. The actors announced on February 14th i.e. Valentine’s Day that they will be getting married soon through social media posts, however, they didn’t reveal the exact date. It was said that the couple was planning to get married on March 9 in Hyderabad and going by the pictures and videos of the wedding ceremonies, it surely looks like Sayyeshaa became a bride yesterday.
Many pictures from the pre-wedding festivities and the intimate wedding have surfaced on the internet in which Bollywood celebs like Sanjay Dutt, Sooraj Pancholi. his parents Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab, veteran actress Anju Mahendroo and others can be seen blessing the bride. On the other hand, Sayyeshaa can be seen donning a beautiful pink embellished lehenga for her pre-wedding festivities and a red lehenga for the big occasion. In one of the videos, the actress is even seen dancing on Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s popular song from Jab We Met, Mauja Hi Mauja. Check out all the pictures and videos here-
Sayyeshaa reportedly met Arya while filming Ghajinikanth, which released in 2018. They are currently working together in the film Kaappaan, directed by KV Anand and produced by Lyca Productions. A report in Deccan Chronicle also suggested that while going on outdoor shoots together, the duo came closer and then decided to take the next step. The report also stated that Sayeesha’s mother Shaneen Banu, who normally accompanies her on shoots, was often seen greeting Arya with warm hospitality by the unit hand present on the location, which hinted that something was brewing between the two actors.
Sayyeshaa Saigal made her debut on the big screen with Telugu film Akhil in 2015 and then featured in 2016's Shivaay. On the other hand, Arya made his debut in Tamil cinema with Arinthum Ariyamalum in 2005. He then starred in Naan Kadavul, Madrasapattinam, Raja Rani and Arrambam.
