Hina Khan talks about playing Komolika in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2
Hina Khan rules the headline, whether it is about her style statements or her latest Punjabi music video Bhassodi, people love talking about her. While fans wait to see the television beauty come up on their screens in a new avatar with the character of Komolika in Kasauti Zindagi Kay reboot, Hina accepts that something is on the table but advises to wait for the official announcement.
Talking to Hindustan Times about her life after Bigg Boss 11 and all the buss around playing Komolika, Hina opened up to her side of the story, she said, “I won’t say it’s not happening, but I suggest let’s wait for the official announcement. Yes, I did go to meet Ekta and somehow people started to speculate, and it came to a point where they even confirmed that I’ve been roped in for the show, whereas I’m yet to sign anything. I mean you don’t know what talks we exchanged in a room and how it works, so let the makers make the final announcement.”
Hina has managed to build a strong fan following as Akshara for 8 long years in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and her appearance in Bigg Boss just added to her popularity. Talking about how it changed her life professionally, Hina revealed, “It changed the game for me. A lot of people thought of casting me in various things while I was still inside the Bigg Boss house. When I came out, people were actually waiting for me so they could offer me new projects. Two days after the show got over, I got a call that I’ve been chosen for the Most Stylish TV personality award and it was the first time I was on a red carpet with all the Bollywood stars. And then, things kept coming in. Also, it’s not like Bigg Boss is over now, so I can relax. I am trying to live up to these expectations.”
Bigg Boss 11 was definitely the turning point in Hina’s career as she emerged not just as a strong individual personality after the show but also became known as the fashion diva on television.
Currently, Hina Khan is painting the streets of London red with beau Rocky Jaiswal. The duo is sharing pictures from the city in which the actress is seen donning traditional clothes. As always, Hina looks radiant and gorgeous in every picture.
