Desi girl Priyanka Chopra got engaged to the American singer Nick Jonas in a private ceremony recently. Interestingly, Nick proposed marriage to Priyanka during her 36th birthday in London in July this year. And Priyanka and Nick made their relationship official through a traditional ceremony in Mumbai recently.
Parineeti, who had earlier shared her excitement for her cousin Priyanka’s relationship with Nick, recently revealed about her first reaction on the American singer’s proposal to PeeCee.
Parineeti is currently gearing up for the release of her forthcoming film Namaste England and recently during the promotions of the film, she said that she was the first person, Priyanka shared the news of her proposal.
Sharing details about Nick’s proposal to Priyanka, Parineeti in an interview to Filmfare said, “The day he proposed to her, it was her birthday. I got a missed call from her at 3 am. I knew she was holidaying. I Facetimed her. She showed me the ring and I almost fainted. Both Priyanka and Nick were there on call. They were like we had to tell you first. I started crying on the call. It became all emotional and beautiful.”
