Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan weave magic every time they appear on the big screen. The duo was last seen in Mani Ratnam’s Raavan in 2010 and since then fans are waiting for the two to come back together. Good news is the two superstar are all set to recreate the magic in Anurag Kashyap’s next film Gulab Jamun which will go on floors in June-July next year.
According to the reports in Pinkvilla, a source has told the publication, “Abhishek Bachchan is slated to begin shooting for his next film after Manmarziyaan in October. He also has Kabaddi season simultaneously. After wrapping up all those commitments by the first quarter of 2019, Abhishek and Aishwarya are expected to begin the prep for the movie. Aishwarya will also finish her annual commitment of gracing the Cannes Film Festival. After all of that is done, the movie is expected to go on-floors in June or July 2019.”
Adds another source, “The recce and the scheduling has already begun. The shoot plan will be announced once the official announcement of the film is made by the makers. Tentatively, it is a three month shoot starting off with Mumbai. The other details are being worked out.”
On the work front, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was last seen in Fanney Khan wherein she played a pop singer, Baby Singh. Her look from the movie was widely appreciated. The actor shared screen space with Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao in Fanney Khan.
Abhishek Bachchan, on the other hand, was seen in Manmarziyan alongside Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal.
