Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan is coming back to the big screens after a gap of two years with Manmarziyaan, which is slated to release this Friday. Father and megastar Amitabh Bachchan watched the special screening of the film recently and he was so moved after watching his son’s turn as Robbie on screen that he couldn’t get himself to speak to him after the screening.
A DNA report says that Amitabh was so overcome with emotion after seeing Abhishek’s performance in the film to give him a feedback. When Abhishek asked his father for his reaction, the veteran actor apparently told him, “I will speak to you later.” On the same night, he tweeted, “There are times when you are so choked with emotion that it is impossible to speak . or say and express anything. I am such now. and there shall be occasion to find out why soon ... !!” While Amitabh is yet to give his feedback, others in the fraternity have applauded Abhishek’s fine turn in the film.
Meanwhile, Big B sent a handwritten letter with a bouquet to Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal, appreciating his performance in the film. "I have always admired your work, your versatility in 'Manmarziyaan' is exceptional," read one of the excerpts from the veteran actor's letter. Overwhelmed by the letter, Vicky Kaushal took to social media, and drafted a post stating "The letter and bouquet every actor is waiting for! Thank you Amitabh Bachchan sir, this means the world to me!". Vicky Kaushal, who was last seen in 'Sanju' was acknowledged for his commendable performance in the movie.
The veteran actor also sent a similar note to Taapsee Pannu, who is said to play a pivotal role in the film. The 31-year-old actress has already worked with Amitabh Bachchan, in the film 'Pink' that fared exceptionally well at the box office. Taking to Instagram, the actress said " "Finally! This letter! A milestone achieved". In the picture shared by her, she can be seen hugging the letter written by the veteran actor close to her heart, while lying down on the floor. The bouquet of floors can be spotted right next to her. The 'Mulk' actress can be seen extremely happy and all in smiles.
