Raj Kapoor’s wife Krishna Raj Kapoor and the matriarch of Kapoor family passed away on Monday following a cardiac arrest. The entire Kapoor family is going through unimaginable grief on the loss of the oldest member of the family. On her last journey, many Bollywood celebrities including Ranbir Kapoor’s actor girlfriend Alia Bhatt were present, but Ranbir himself was nowhere to be seen. Also, Rishi Kapoor and wife Neetu Kapoor were also not present at Krishna Raj Kapoor’s last rites. Actually, Rishi Kapoor and his family had already left for the US for the veteran actor’s treatment just when she passed away. Hence, they couldn’t be a part of Krishna Raj Kapoor’s last journey.
Ranbir’s girlfriend Alia Bhatt consoled the Kapoor family on his behalf. She was even seen comforting his sister Riddhima Kapoor at the funeral. In a video that has surfaced on the social media, the Raazi actress was seen face-timing Ranbir Kapoor so that he can see the procession with his own eyes. She was constantly talking to him, although, later the call got disconnected due to poor network.
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are dating each other for over six months now. The actress shares a warm relationship with the actor’s family including Neetu Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor. Neetu Kapoor often drops mushy comments on Alia’s social media posts. Sister Riddhima even gifted an expensive bracelet to Alia soon after their relationship went public.
