Parineeti Chopra demanded huge fee to be the heroine in SS Rajamouli's RRR
Parineeti Chopra is enjoying her life to the fullest with a mini vacation recently in Australia. The actress is the Tourism Ambassador of the country and shared a number of pictures from her dreamy getaway. While Parineeti already has Bollywood film Sandeep Aur Pinky Farrar in line-up, rumours have it that she might play the lead in SS Rajamouli’s RRR staring Jr NTR and Ram Charan
RRR, directed by SS Rajamouli is undeniably one of the much-awaited films of the year and the makers are in search of a popular face as the female lead since the star cast has all the exciting names already. Going by the reports in India Today, Parineeti Chopra has agreed to be the part of Rajampouli’s film but she has one condition. Parineeti, reportedly, wants to be paid a huge fee and has demanded the same from the makers. RRR makers are currently in talks over the same and are planning to lock Parineeti as the female lead of the film, as they don’t want to delay the shooting. Also, as they want bulk dates from her, Rajamouli is contemplating to shell out the amount demanded by Parineeti Chopra. An official announcement on the same is awaited.
RRR has already created quite a buzz since it is another period drama, set in 1920, after Rajamouli’s blockbuster classic Baahubali. Before Parineeti, a lot of names has surfaced in the rumour galleries, but nothing is finalized yet. Infact, Parineeti’s sister Priyanka Chopra’s name was also heard to be roped in as the female lead. Also, RRR is being made on a whopping budget of Rs 300 crore and the makers are leaving no stone unturned to create a huge set in Hyderabad. International fitness trainer Lloyd Stevens has also been roped in to train the lead actors of this mega project.
On the other hand, Parineeti’s upcoming project Sandeep Aur Pinky Farrar will hit the screens on March 1. It will clash on the box office with Sushant Singh Rajput and Bhumi Pednekar’s Sonchiriya and Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon’s Luka Chuppi.
