May 12, 2019, marks the special occasion of Mother's Day where people across the world acknowledge and admire their mothers for everything she has done for them. Actress Sameera Reddy did the same and dedicated Mother's Day 2019 to brave soul Sonali Bendre, who fought cancer and emerged a true hero in every sense. Sameera, who is expecting her second child, took to social media to share a heartfelt post about Sonali Bendre's inspirational journey.

"It was exactly one year ago I met Sonali at Miss Malini’s studio . We were shooting for the girl tribe show . Just a few weeks later I heard she was diagnosed with cancer . And in this one year Sonali has gone through so much and come out such a winner . She has been an amazing mother to Ranveer and i am sure it was tough on him and her husband with the sudden shock of being diagnosed. I can only imagine what they went through. I told her recently that I felt how in this picture she was the Sonali Bendre of the past and how now in her new avatar she is a powerful warrior who has emerged even more graceful and courageous and I respect her for it . At a recent event, Sonali Bendre said that Manisha Koirala helped her fight the disease. She said, "Manisha (Koirala) has been a big help. She has been through it and is a survivor. She has also written a lovely book about it."

Sonali Bendre also posed with her best friends Sussanne Khan and Gayatri Oberoi for BFFs With Vogue 3 with Neha Dhupia. The three ladies not only looked stunning but also gave us serious friendship goals.

 Sameera Reddy, who was seen in the film Race opposite Anil Kapoor, is all set to welcome her second child with husband Akshai Varde.
