Shashi, 79, passed away on December 4 due to kidney problem. The actor's 'chautha' was held at Prithvi Theatre, which was built by him and his wife Jennifer Kapoor, in memory of his father, Prithviraj Kapoor.
Waheeda, who worked with him in "Namak Halal", "Kabhie Kabhie" attended the prayer meet along with actors Rekha and others.
Bollywood celebrities including Jeetendra, Rakesh Roshan, Soni Razdan, Kabir Bedi, Nandita Das and the complete family attended the prayer meet of Shashi Kapoor.
Shashi Kapoor was given Dadsaheb Phalke Award in 2015 and his family organised a ceremony at Prithvi Theatre sending out invites to all known faces of Bollywood. Rishi Kapoor presided over events and also Amitabh Bachchan was there to speak but nothing is as special as this picture which can give you goosebumps.
Earlier Rishi Kapoor tweeted a picture with caption, ''And his heroines! WOW''. The snap in which Shashi Kapoor in on wheel chair, instantly went viral. The actresses beside him are: Shabana Azmi, who co-starred with him in Junoon and Fakira; Rekha who worked with him in Baseraa and Utsav; Nafisa Ali from Junoon; Supriya Pathak from Kalyug and Vijeta; Neetu Singh, in Deewar; Waheeda Rahman, co-star from Kabhi Kabhie, Trishul and Namak Halal; Asha Parekh from Pyar Ka Mausam and Zeenat Aman, his co-star in Satyam Shivam Sundaram.
Hema Malini and Shashi Kapoor have worked together in Trishul, Do Aur Do Paanch.
Veteran actress Rekha also attended the prayer meet of Shashi Kapoor.
Shashi Kapoor's family and his friends from the industry also attended his prayer meet.
