Actor Farhan Akhtar to star in upcoming Bollywood movie- 'The Sky is Pink' directed by Shonali Bose of 'Margarita, with a Straw'. The 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' star will star opposite Priyanka Chopra of 'Mary Kom' and 'Dangal' star Zaira Wasim.
Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to announce this news. He wrote, "IT'S OFFICIAL... Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar, and Zaira Wasim... Shonali Bose's next directorial to be produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur and Ronnie Screwvala... Prep and script readings are on in full swing... Starts 8 Aug 2018... Dialogue by Juhi Chaturvedi... Music by Pritam."
Farhan Akhtar even took to Instagram to thank Shonali Bose for a role in this movie. He shared the picture of the script of the movie and captioned it, "It all starts here. Thank you #ShonaliBose for trusting me with this beautiful story. ???? #fromtheheart"
The shooting of this movie will commence from August 08, and as of now no official release date has been announced.
On the work front, Priyanka, who recently wrapped the shoot for her third Hollywood film, Isn't It Romantic?, has started shooting for her next Bollywood project, Bharat. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the movie features superstar Salman Khan as the male lead. This will be Salman and Priyanka's fourth film together.
