Finally, the cat is out of the bag. Bollywood actor, director and singer Farhan Akhtar has confirmed his relationship with anchor and model Shibani Dandekar in his latest post. Their dating rumours are not new and time and again the couple has dropped subtle hints about their relationship.

However, it came as pleasant surprise to all their fans when Farhan Akhtar took to Instagram to confess his love for Shibani. He shared a picture in which they can be seen walking hand in hand. The photo is not new. Earlier, Shibani shared this picture which triggered speculations among netizens. Now, the director has cleared the air by sharing the same photo from his account. Soon after the director cum actor shared the picture, congratulatory messages poured in.

Earlier, Farhan wished his ladylove on her birthday and showered kisses on her. Their vacay picture also grabbed a lot of eyeballs. 

This announcement came soon after Shibani supported Farhan in the Twitter war where people started blaming him after #MeToo allegations surfaced against his cousin Sajid Khan. Actress Amrita Puri also condemned Sajid's family and wondered how none of them knew about his predatory behaviour when it was an open secret in the industry.

While Farhan responded to Amrita, Shibani lashed out at Twitter users accusing him of ignoring the misconduct of his cousin. Farhan strongly resented Amrita's insinuation after which the actress apologised.
