Daughter of veteran actress Sridevi and producer Boney Kapoor, Janhvi Kpaoor had amassed a huge number of followers after her Bollywood debut Dhadak. The Karan Johar film, which also stars Ishaan Khatter, has been raking in good moolah at both national and international box-offices. The Dhadak effect was more than obvious when Janhvi Kapoor stepped out for a lunch date on Sunday.
The actress was spotted with sisters Khushi Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor and, as soon as fans spotted the Dhadak star, there was excitement all over.
Along with the Kapoor sisters, cousin Mohit Marwah and wife Antara was also spotted outside the restaurant on Sunday.
By the time, she and her family came out of the restaurant, there were quite a few people gathered outside to click selfies with her. Janhvi though looked a bit shocked, tried to face with a smile. She even got all concerned for a guy who fell down in a bid to click a pic with her. Watch the viral video here.
Janhvi is aware of the role her surname has played in her career so far, the debate around nepotism and a need to prove herself. Speaking of the attention she gets, she has said, “I don’t have anything to talk about actually. I know I don’t deserve this attention right now.” There is a clarity in her thoughts and yet, she has kept the youth and innocence of her age intact.
Janhvi Kapoor debuted with Shashank Khaitan-directed film, which is the Hindi remake of Marathi superhit film Sairat. For Ishaan, Dhadak is his second film. The 22-year-old actor debuted with Iranian director Majid Majidi's film Beyond The Clouds earlier this year. Dhadak's Marathi counterpart Sairat, which released in 2016, featured Rinku Rajguru and Akash Thosar.
