Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is again in the news. On Tuesday, the teaser of her much-awaited film Fanney Khan has been dropped and needless to say, it’s beyond impressive. The actress is playing the role of a glamorous diva in the Anil Kapoor-starrer. Also, the duo is reuniting at the silvercreen after a span of 18 years. Last they were seen together in Humara Dil Aapke Pas Hai. Recently, the Bollywood beauty was shooting with Beyonce and Jennifer Lopez’s choreographer Frank Gatson for a song in Fanney Khan.

Talking about Gatson, the renowned choreographer has worked with pop icons like Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez and Rihanna. He will be working with Aishwarya for two songs for Fanne Khan.
Meanwhile, the first teaser of Fanney Khan has been out on Tuesday. It shows Anil Kapoor as a struggling musician while Aishwarya is essaying the role of a well-established pop star. It also stars Rajkummar Rao in a pivotal role.
Fanney Khan is reported to be the Hindi remake of Everybody’s Famous. The Dutch movie had Josse De Pauw, Eva Van Der Gucht and Thekla Reuten in the lead roles. It was nominated at Oscars 2001 under the Best Foreign Language Film category.

Talking about Fanney Khan, the film is about a struggling musician who changed the face of the music industry with his will and hard work. Directed by debutante Atul Manjrekar and co-produced by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra Pictures Productions and T-Series with Anil Kapoor Films Company Network, Fanney Khan is slated to release on August 3 clashing with Irrfan Khan’s Karwaan.
