Twinkle Khanna posts ‘No Filter’ selfie with Dimple Kapadia on her birthday!
Veteran actress Dimple Kapadia celebrated her 61st birthday on Friday. On this occasion, daughter Twinkle Khanna definitely had some special plans for her mother. While having a birthday brunch with the Bobby actress, Twinkle shared a picture which shows both the gorgeous women at their cheerful best. However, it was her caption that caught our attention. It’s not like that we haven’t witnessed Mrs Funnybones’ slapstick sense of humour before, but with each posts the gorgeous actress never fails to surprise us.
Twinkle Khanna revealed in an interview that she inherited her quick wit and sense of humour from her mother and her new post is just another proof of it. Sharing the picture, she wrote, “Birthday lunch with the most beautiful woman in the world - She needs no filters and luckily doesn't have one either."

Talking about the birthday girl Dimple Kapadia, she was launched by legendary actor Raj Kapoor in a 1973 film Bobby which had Rishi Kapoor in lead role. She was only 16 years old back then. Her debut film went on to become a huge commercial success and ever since then, she became a household name. She won the Filmfare Award for Best Actress for Bobby.
She married then superstar Rajesh Khanna six months before official release of her debut film Bobby. She took a sabbatical from films after marrying Khanna. She didn’t do any film until 1984. In 1993, Dimple was conferred with National Film Award for Best Actress for her performance in Rudaali.
She was last seen in Welcome Back also starring John Abraham and Shruti Haasan.
