Veteran actress Sridevi’s elder Janhvi Kapoor is gearing up for her Bollywood debut with Shashank Khaitan’s forthcoming film Dhadak. Dhadak is a remake of Marathi blockbuster Sairat. And Janhvi will be seen creating her on-screen magic with Shahid Kapoor’s half-brother Ishaan Khatter. Janhvi has successfully managed to create a lot of buzz ahead of her film release and she is also making headlines all over for her film. Janhvi’s Dhadak co-star Ishaan was last seen in Majid Majidi’s film Beyond the Clouds.

Being a daughter of one of the first female superstars Sridevi and renowned producer Boney Kapoor, it was obvious for all of us to think that acting was the best profession for the budding diva. But Janhvi’s mom Sridevi was at first shocked after hearing her daughter’s career choice. Sridevi wanted Janhvi to be a doctor, but it was Janhvi’s decision to follow her dream profession that is acting.

Janhvi, who is currently busy in the promotions of her film Dhadak along with co-star Ishaan, used to have a private Instagram account. Recently, she made her Instagram account public. Janhvi in an interview revealed that before making her account public she deleted all her previous pictures from her Instagram account.
Janhvi was approached for Simmba:
Sara Ali Khan and Ranveer Singh starrer Simmba created a lot of buzz ahead of it’s announcement. Recently, makers announced Sara Ali’s name as the lead actress of Simmba, but many other actresses including Katrina Kaif and Priya Prakash Varrier were approached for the film. It was said that ahead of Sara, Janhvi was also approached for Simmba.
Janhvi rejected AR Murugadoss’ film:
Janhvi has managed to make headlines ahead of her film Dhadak release. It is said that Janhvi was offered a film by filmmaker AR Murugadoss’ reportedly starring south superstar Mahesh Babu in lead role. But the diva rejected the film, according to reports.
