Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and the entire Bhavnani and Padukone family is in London to unveil the actress’ wax statue at Madame Tussauds. The actress went to the launch event with her husband Ranveer Singh, father Prakash Padukone, mother Ujjala Padukone, sister Anisha, fatherin-law Jagjit Bhavnani and mother-in-law Anju Bhavnani. She unveiled the statue on her social media during a live Instagram session a couple of hours ago. In the video and pictures, both Bhavnanis and Padukones were in awe of Deepika Padukone’s life-like wax statue at Madame Tussauds, London.
Ranveer Singh, who is madly in love with his wife Deepika, saw the statue for the first time and said, “Gorgeous". “Can I take her home”
Deepika Padukone replied to his cheesy comment with another mushy one-liner, “Whenever you're here, shooting for 83 and you miss me too much, you can come here.”
This is quite a big achievement for Deepika Padukone. At the same time, she also shared the frame with Avengers actress Scarlett Johansson and Korean actor Bae Doona on Vogue US’s cover. The picture is doing rounds on the social media with fans praising her feat.
On the work front, Deepika Padukone will start shooting for Meghna Gulzar’s next Chhapaak with Vikrant Massey. According to the renowned filmmaker, Deepika will don a disfigured face as she’s playing an acid attack survivor in the film.
